PS5 Pro’s vaunted PSSR technology explodes!

Ana sayfa / News

Sony’s latest-generation PlayStation 5 Pro, which Sony introduced in recent months, initially attracted a lot of attention from gamers with its improved performance and superior technological features. However, the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology integrated into the console has caused unpleasant problems for some PS5 Pro users. So, what is this PSSR technology? How does it cause problems?

PSSR is a super-resolution technology developed by Sony to improve game graphics. The technology, which was developed to provide gamers with clearer and higher quality visuals, is allegedly causing problems for some users in 60 FPS mode.

According to Tech4Gamers, when PSSR is enabled, visual problems such as white dots, aliasing and flickering can occur in games. These problems are thought to be caused by incompatibility in how PSSR interacts with game engines.

PS5 Pro technical details revealed!

Leaks about the highly anticipated PS5 Pro have turned out to be true. The device's 8-core Zen 2 CPU and 16 GB GDDR6 memory specifications have been confirmed.

Interestingly, these problems disappear in 120 FPS mode or when PSSR technology is disabled. So this proves that the problem is directly related to PSSR technology.

Not all users experience display problems. Some players can open games in 60 FPS mode without any problems. Sony is expected to optimize PSSR with system updates to solve these problems. However, it is not yet clear whether the problem will be completely eliminated.

If you are a PS5 Pro user and are experiencing similar problems, you can provide a temporary solution by disabling PSSR technology. Sony is expected to fix this problem with an update in the coming days.
